Long-Exposure "Night Scenery" mode used, and much-needed stabilization provided by my beloved tripod.

You know how in my other deviation, "The Distracting Sphere", I said I'd get a shot of this tower at night? Here it is! I took about 20 shots of this thing in all manners of manual modes without being satisfied, and was about to go inside when I accidentally discovered my camera's "Night Scenery" mode. Giving it a try, I was amazingly pleased with the results.

As usual, if anyone knows what that thing is, please tell me. :(

It seems your camera wasn't able to focus properly (either that, or you nudged the tripod by accident)

That's the one thing that I've not been able to actually manipulate with any skill is the focus on my camera, and it can be really frustrating; I've tossed out a bunch of shots that I liked initially after looking at the full JPEG. This one, however, I didn't want to because it was my first attempt at long-exposure.

Plus, it might've been wind. It's windy in Dallas still. *sigh*

:icontheoraclekrista:
... is that in Dallas? XD

Because I think that's the Antares restaurant (it's basically a restaurant in a globe that slowly rotates so you can see around the city). Always wanted to go up in that thing. LOL.

BTW, i would've scaled the image down....about 1000x750 perhaps....

Then the picture would look sharper and people like me, who have screens like 1280x800, wouldn't have to scroll around the screen to see every part of the picture :)

Ah, I'm sorry, I typically tend to put everything at 1600 because my monitor is A) huge and B) running at 1600x1200. :)

I might start cutting them down to 1200 or so. I just like people to get a great idea of what it looks like without having to download the full thing, hehe.

Cause every night I will make it right, and every night I will come to you. But every night it just stays the same, in my dream of an absolution.

Kyro, I wish I had your talent. x.x' *Is Lita, by the way* That is incredibly pretty, 'specially because it's at night. <3
