Camera settings were set first at fully automatic to give myself a baseline, then taken into fully manual and tweaked for a bit of image enhancement on the scene. Camera mounted on a Velbon Chaser EL-3 tripod.

This is one of the two heraldic angels at the Bass Performance Center in Fort Worth. This was part of my Fort Worth photo shoot that I went on today, and as soon as I saw Bass Performance Hall, I knew these angels had to be a photo subject.

Capturing them just like this was a challenge, as it had to be taken at the street corner diagonal from the hall, which meant I had to beware of cars creating motion blur and not getting a solid frame fill with the angel. It worked, though, and I was positively giddy when I pulled this off my camera and loaded it in IfranView.
